This story had all of my attention from the very start. I was hooked and soaked up every word, every action, every character, and every plot twist there was. I soared through Supernova and never wanted to put it down, and that’s saying something since I’ve been taking at least a week or two to finish a book. It was just that good for me!This is something I hate about myself, but sometimes I let the hype of a book set my expectations very high, which leads me to be disappointed. So, I was afraid that I wasn’t going to love Supernova just like I didn’t really love Renegades and Archenemies in the beginning, but let me tell you about these turn of events when it comes to my feelings about this trilogy because of how wonderfully amazing Supernova was!Supernova was amazing from start to finish! For me, it had the perfect balance of character scenes and development, plot twists, and action scenes. I was all over the place with my emotions. My heart was racing with so much anticipation at every action scene because the suspense was killing me! My heart stumbled and lurched with the heartbreaking plot twists and the feelings that Nova and Adrian experience. My heart swelled with warmth and love from the family scenes, the friendships, and especially with the relationship with Nova and Adrian (I might’ve even teared up at one part because I felt their emotions and just loved to see their relationship become rocky then overcome those rocky and hurtful situations).I was on the edge of my seat because I just couldn’t fathom how the story was going to end when there was at least a 100 pages left. I wasn’t sure how Marissa was going to pull it off, but boy did she! She ended the story in a way that I never would have guessed. It didn’t feel rushed or hurried; it was like Marissa put in just the right amount of action that did feel like it was going on for so long nor did it feel like everything happened too quickly, and I applaud her for doing so. She did it so gracefully, it was great!I could go on and on, but the last two important things I have to speak about is the freaking SPECTACULAR plot twists that you get throughout the entire book and THE ENDING! The fact that all these connections and clues are right in your face yet you don’t realize they are there until you finish the story and think about what just happened is simply mind blowing. With an exception of one plot twist, I was not expecting any of them–from Phobia’s background to the epilogue and everything between. Trust me when I say that I freaked out and had to sit back and say “ohhhhhmyfreakinggod” multiple times! I was shocked by everything and I absolutely loved it.Now, THAT DANG FREAKING EPILOGUE! I did not see that coming and probably wouldn’t have seen it coming from a mile away! I was not expecting what had happened to actually happen. It didn’t even cross my mind yet when I think of it, the clues are right freaking there despite being small clues sprinkled throughout the story. But man, that epilogue makes way for something more to come from this world that Marissa built and I am honestly excited to see what’s next because there just has to be something new coming. I need more! As much as I am satisfied with the love that I have for this conclusion, I need the continuation of what I was given with that epilogue!All in all, I can say so much more, but I’m going to end here and say again that it is one of the best conclusions to a series and I couldn’t have loved it more! It was purely amazing! Oh, and before I forget, Nova Artino’s entire character arc is truly so fascinating. I love her! Also, I adore Adrian so much more now. He’s too adorable and I just want to hug him! And Max!Marissa Meyer holds nothing back in this epic conclusion to the Renegades trilogy. This book was excellent. Absolutely excellent. It is the type of book that has you double-checking how much is left and feeling relieved that you’re only a quarter of the way in because you don’t want it to end. The writing is fantastic and flows so well. The ending is climatic and satisfying. Marissa Meyer holds nothing back in this epic conclusion to the Renegades trilogy.Supernova picks up the story in the aftermath of Nightmare’s heist. Nova is walking on thin ice with her treachery precariously close to being discovered, Max’s life is on the line from the dire injuries sustained by Frostbite, and Adrian is furious and fueled to capture Nightmare once and for all. Once again, Nova is caught between the budding friendships of the Renegades and the loyalty to her rag tag family as she pursues a way to free Ace, stop Agent N, finally bring a sense of peace to the world. If only her heart could figure out the right way to do it. If only Adrian would stop hunting Nightmare. If only she knew the truth. Powers, lives, and loyalties are gained and lost in this thrilling conclusion.Good book, but the first two were better I have been waiting for this book for months now, but when I stayed up till twelve reading it, it didn't feel like the same greatness of the first two novels. The ending was not completely predicted, but many of the fan theories I read were correct. Also, the ending featured something that I could not believe one of the main characters, Nova, doing, and I realized if the cover was to be trusted with the design of Nightmare's costume, then everyone in the book is stupid. Also, Adrian, the other main character, is in so much denial it pains me to see how idiot he is.
